Also congratulations to Team Odds in Block 2 for achieving the highest mark on the Core 8-10 test. It was a tie between Halley and Crystal so I looked at the next highest mark which was Kirsten's so Kirsten earns her team 1 point giving Team Odds 2 to Team Evens 3.

For Block 1:
- No assignment as you guys wrote your test today.
Congratulations to Team Evens for winning both review games and taking a 5-2 lead over Team Odds. It's still early in the semester so Team Odds still has time to get it together and win.
Update: So the top marks were a three way tie with Bryanna, Neelam and Darby getting the same score. All three are on the same team so Team Evens earns another point and has a commanding 6-2 lead. (Neelam already got this point, so the point will go to Bryanna based on alphabetical order, Darby can still get a point on the next test)

New Month, New Semester & New Classes!
Welcome to all my new students this semester!
This semester I've got two Math 9 classes, a Science 8 and a Physics 11 class to keep track of. That's four classes which means 8 teams competing for the Arocena Cup this semester. A few of you will have the opportunity to win the cup a second time this semester and join an elite crowd currently only occupied by one student.
