New Year! New teams for the Arocena Cup!

Finally got around to doing this.  Sorry for all the students who checked earlier this year.  I didn't update it as well as I should have.  Moving forward I will try to do a better job of updating this with regards to test days and assignment lists.

Anyways I do have an update to the Arocena Cup competition this year.

In Block 1 Chemistry 12 the teams are Team Swamp vs Team Forest.  Currently Team Swamp has 13 points while Team Forest has 12 points.  It looked like Team Forest was going to run away with the competition early but the Swamp Things fought back to take the lead!

In Block 2 Physics 11, the teams are Team Servo and Team Golem.  Pretty close at 5 points to 6.

In Block 4 Chemistry 11, Team Island is taking on Team Mountain and are doing a pretty good job of keeping things close at 9 to 8.

Although I have a Block 3 class (Robotics) it was too small at the beginning to have a good competitive environment so I opted to not run the Arocena Cup in that block.  Things have changed though and the class has grown so they will have the opportunity to compete for the Arocena Cup as well soon!

Halloween Egg Drop Pod Results!

Apologies for not posting anything in the last few weeks.  Just keeps slipping my mind.

Anyways, this deserves a post.  The results from the Halloween Egg Drop Pod lab!

First, only one drop pod did not make the first drop!  And of the ones that did make the drop 3 of the 6 managede to survive the 2nd alternate drop.  2 of the 3 also came from Team Left so Team Left will earn a point in the Arocena Cup.
