Back from Playland

We made it back yesterday and I'd like to thank all of the students, Ms. Hampe and our bus driver Dave for coming and participating in this event.  It was lots of fun and I hope you students learned something or at least reinforced some of the things you have already learned.

Off to Playland

This morning we head out to Playland with our motley crew of 18 physics & biology students to study the science of amusement parks and get a tour of UBC.

Any assignments that are given out by the substitute will be due when I get back (Thursday).

If you guys finish those early, I've instructed the sub to give you an additional assignment.  The best additional assignment will earn their side a point (the Evens could really use it in block 1)

- Complete Exercises on page 298 #1-6
- Complete Exercises on page 313 #1-9

Also there is still room for 2-3 people on our field trip to Playland so if you are interested let me know as soon as possible!

Physics Field Trip

Alrighty, for those who are curious, the administration has given the green light for the trip to Playland in early May. I just need a head count of who all is willing to go.

Listen to the announcements over the next few days for more information about the field trip.

Should be a fun and educational experience for all involved.
