- I averaged out the term 1 marks and The Girls and James had a higher average than the Evens Almighty thus earning them another point to give them a 9-8 lead.

- I averaged out the term 1 marks and Team Odds had a higher average than Team Evens thus earning them another point to give them a 9-6 lead.

Physics 11 Assignment
No assignment today as you had your Chapter 8 test.
Congratulations go out Team Odds as Michelle earned the point on the Chapter 8 test. Team Odds now has an 8-6 lead over Team Evens but there's still plenty of semester left and most of the Odds have earned points for their tests. Evens you better do your best during our review games or other projects to catch up!

Physics 11 Assignment

Congrats go out to Keven, Tarina and Reece who managed to make an insulating device with a total temperature change of only 10 degrees after 15 minutes. Everyone else was 13 degrees or higher. They earned a point for The Odds bringing the score at 7-6 in favour of The Evens.

Science 9 Assignment
For Both Blocks:

- Congratulations also go out to Team Tomahawk in Block 3 for beating the Evens into submission and extracting an 'I give up' from one of their players. They now take a 3 point lead with a score of 7 to 4 in Block 3.
- Congratulations go out to The Girls and James in block 1 for a convincing win against the Evens Almighty in Block 1. The game was a back and forth affair but The Girls and James flexed their might in the second half and stormed to a victory. Scores are now 8 to 6 in Block 1 favouring The Girls and James.

I think I made it too easy as 4 of you got 100% and 2 got 41/42. Congrats go out to Team Evens (who for some reason now have named themselves The Odds) as Dana and Van both got 100% (Tony and Tarneer did too but they already earned points). Dana will earn the point as I marked hers first and this brings the scores to 7 to 5 in favour of Team Odds (who are now known as The Evens)
Another reminder that your Rube Goldberg Machine videos are due on Monday! I will show them to the rest of the science teachers and ask which they think is the best and that will earn another point for their team.

- Finish chapter 7 review page 148-149 #1-2, 5-11. There are a few questions you should pay particular attention to.
- Also congratulations to Team Odds for winning our second round of Physics Jeopardy. The Evens could have done it but fell 199 points short. Scores are now 7-4 in favour of Team Odds.
- Remember the videos for your Rube Goldberg machines will be due on Monday Nov. 16th. I will then poll the Science department teachers and we will decide which machine we felt was the best and whichever gets that vote their side will get another point.

Congratulations go out to the Evens Almighty in block 1. Josh got the highest mark on the Chapter 2 test and earned his team a point and the Evens Almighty won the October team sports series so earned another point. Scores are now tied at 6 points each in Block 1!
