Chemistry 11 Assignment
Today's assignment: - Complete the Endothermic/Exothermic Reaction lab - Start on the Chapter 5 Review p.145-146 Interpret & Apply #1-11, Problems #5, 6
How do you know if a reaction takes place in a solution?
ReplyDeleteA reaction will take place in a solution if the compounds are listed as being aqueous with the symbol (aq).
ReplyDeleteAlternatively you can express the reaction takes place in solution by having water appear as both a reactant and a product.
ie. reactants + water --> products + water
Usually chemists will stick with the (aq) terminology.
Thank you =)
ReplyDeleteNo problem. Sorry for the late reply (loud TV, didn't hear the text alert).
