Math 9 Assignment
Today's assignment: - Complete Exercises p. 102-103 #13-40, odds do odds, evens do evens
Remember you have a test on Tuesday! We'll review things on Monday and maybe Tuesday.
thank you does lunch work for me to come in on monday? but if i can catch up with andrea or chyanne in the morning i will let you know and then i will prolly be able to hand in the assignment on tuesday
Mr Arocena. I am working on our assignment right now for Oct 7th and am stuck on which number is the total when it comes to having two numbers such as the nickel and dime question with a dollar amount and a coin amount. that is an example question Maybe I can come in at 820 tomorrow morning to see you. Cortney.
With the dollar questions you want to set it up so that the question looks like this.
0.05x + 0.10y = (total amount)
Where x is the number of nickels and y is the number of dimes. The reason we multiply the number of nickels by 0.05 is because a nickel is worth 0.05 (same reason for the number of dimes.
Hi Mr. Arocena im not understanding the math that we are suppost to do. Could you help me out on Monday at Lunch or something because i wasnt there?
ReplyDeleteSure thing. I will actually not be in school on Tuesday so you guys will get two review days (one on Monday and part of Tuesday's double block)
ReplyDeleteHopefully I'll be able to assist you on Monday! Alternatively you could ask Chyanne or Andrea as they appeared to understand it pretty well.
