Chemistry 11 Assignment
Hope everyone enjoyed the first day! I realized I talked a lot but it is important to know this stuff for the future.
Question 3 is just like Question 2 except has exponents. Follow the rules for exponents that we discussed in class today and be sure that you keep the correct number of significant figures!
Hello there! I do not understand the number 2 letter F on the Chem 11 Skills - Significant Figures Worksheet.
ReplyDelete2f is a division problem
ReplyDeleteIt might not be clear, sometimes the division sign doesn't print properly.
So it should read 4.10x10^7 divided by 5.9x10^6
Hope this helps!
My answer has turned out to be a long decimal. I am wondering if I round it up to 0.7x10'1 or should I round up the 0.7 to a 1?
ReplyDeleteHow many significant figures should the answer have?
ReplyDeleteThat should be an indication as to what you need to round to.
For reference I get 0.694915...
Alright thanks! I am on the right track!
